President - Scott Vanek

Mr. Vanek's experience as a former law enforcement officer and business executive for a high-end security and communication systems firm prompted him to form his own company, SJV & Associates, in 1998. Through his vision and leadership, along with the commitment from a very talented management team, SJV has become the paradigm in public records retrieval. Scott's responsibilities include focusing on strategic planning, developing new business partners, and commitment to quality assurance. In order to achieve these business goals, Scott chose to pursue an internationally recognized set of quality standards for his company to follow: ISO 9001:2008. Scott is also an active board member for the Kennesaw State University Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice, Internship Advisory Board, as well as a member of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences and the Southern Criminal Justice Association. Scott received his Associate in Arts in Criminal Justice from the College of DuPage, and has also successfully completed the Continuing Education of Management and Leadership Program at Kennesaw State University.

General Manager - Eddie Swengross

Mr. Swengross has been with the company since 2005. From 1999 to 2004, Eddie formed and operated his own company, Axis Travel Management, Inc., which managed corporate travel accounts, including retail and Internet based travel. From 1994 to 2004, Eddie was Vice President of TDI, Inc., which provided consulting services to the wireless telecommunications industry. Eddie received his Bachelor of Science of Civil Engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University in 1988. Before TDI, he used his degree in the fields of program management, construction project management and structural design engineering.

Director of Operations - Shane Oestricher

Mr. Oestricher has been with SJV since 2004, acting as the Director of Operations of since 2012. Prior to becoming the Director of Operations, Shane served as the Vendor Relations Manager for seven years. As the Director of Operations Shane oversees the Customer Service, Production and Vendor Relations Departments. His focus will be to strengthen department relations between all three groups and to implement progressive and dynamic strategies to improve the overall dependability of SJV & Associates within our industry. Shane is also an active member of NAPBS, having served as a Conference Ambassador for several years concurrently, an Internal Auditor for our ISO 9001:2008 program and has also successfully passed the NAPBS Criminal Research Provider Guidelines Examination.

Director of Technology - Nick Kelland

Mr. Kelland has been with SJV since 2000 and is currently serving as Director of Technology. Nick designed SJV's Client, Vendor, employee and accounting web applications. In his tenure, Nick has implemented numerous database enhancements that have increased overall productivity and minimized SJV's manual data entry by nearly 90%. He has also created an electronic document filing system, increasing overall document security and efficiency, far above standard filing. Nick is also an Internal Auditor for our ISO 9001:2008 program. Nick received his Bachelor of Science in Communications, with an emphasis in Electronic Media from Kennesaw State University in 2005.

Customer Service Manager - Jeff Green

Jeff Green has been with SJV since 2007. He is SJV's Customer Service Manager, acting as a liaison between SJV and the clients who utilize our services. He is the primary contact for clients to voice their concerns, requests, and feedback, regarding SJV services. Jeff also oversees the Client Services Department, ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality care from SJV. Additionally, he is an Internal Auditor for our ISO 9001:2008 program. Jeff attended Kennesaw State University and graduated in 2006 with his Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice with a concetration in Behavioral Forensics.

Quality Assurance Manager - Carrie Fanaroff

Mrs. Fanaroff has been a part of SJV since 2004. Carrie was SJV's Team Leader in the Criminal Records Department before being promoted to Quality Assurance Manager. Carrie's primary role as Quality Assurance Manager is to efficiently implement, and ensure compliance with processes that are aimed at guaranteeing accuracy in the services provided to all of SJV's clients. This is made possible through her role in SJV's ISO 9001:2008 program. Carrie was paramount in obtaining SJV's ISO certification. She continues to develop and maintain our Quality Management System, registered to ISOQAR. Her leadership has directed us to obtaining two external audits, each with zero non-conformances. She is our Lead Internal Auditor for our ISO 9001:2008 program. Carrie obtained her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Kennesaw State University in 2005.

Accounting Manager - Colleen Smith

Mrs. Smith has been with SJV since 2002. She is currently serving as SJV's Accounting and Human Resource Manager. Colleen was previously SJV's Director of Operations 2002-2004. She has also held accounting positions with Univest, Inc 1996-1998, and with Transmontaigne, Inc 1998-2002. Colleen received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Kennesaw State University in 1996. While successfully completing her degree Colleen competed on Kennesaw State University's National Champion Women's softball team, eventually being recruited for two Olympic Games Softball teams. Colleen is also a member of Kennesaw State University's Athletic Hall of Fame for her accomplishments.

International Division Manager - Corey Beavers

Mr. Beavers joined SJV & Associates in 2005. Corey is responsible for all operations pertaining to the international criminal product provided by SJV. This involves the acquisition, quality, and development of SJV's network of international research specialists as well as overseeing the various related operations. Previously, Corey has served as SJV's Criminal Team Leader and Client Services Manager. He is an Internal Auditor for our ISO 9001:2008 program. Corey graduated in 2007 with his baccalaureate in Criminal Justice from Kennesaw State University and is a registered Private Detective with the state of Georgia. Corey is a member of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences, the Southern Criminal Justice Association, and the Association of Christian Investigators.
