SJV Goes Green

In response to the recent gas crisis affecting the metro Atlanta area and in an effort to stay committed to the community, SJV has implemented a number of new policies to help minimize its impact on the environment. First, SJV is encouraging telecommuting for those employees that have the capacity to do so. SJV is also offering its employees catered lunches twice a week to minimize gas usage on lunch breaks. Additionally, SJV has implemented a rewards program to encourage employees to bike or carpool to work. Based on a point system for the number of days alternative transportation is used, gifts are given monthly and annually to employees who have the most points.
